TransUnion announced their scheduled maintenance that will be performed starting Saturday May 4, 2013 at 8:00 PM to Sunday May 5, 2013 at 6:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). During this maintenance window you may experience time outs, delays or failures in processing background and eviction transactions due to services not being available.
To prevent any possible delays and failures in personal background checks and eviction checks, you may inform your applicants not to submit their applications between 8 PM on Saturday May 4, 2013 and 6 AM on Sunday May 5, 2013 (MDT). You should not be ordering any background checks during that period from the SCREEN workflow.
How to Troubleshoot Failures
If the status of your background check on the Applicant Details page states either “Entered for Submission” or “Error” for more than 10 minutes, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will initiate a new transaction for you.
If the status states “Waiting on Applicant”, this means that the applicant is still to authorize the background check to you and everything is processing correctly.
